I resurface...

I've been asleep for some time now, having stayed away from blogging. Life gets in the way, and as with an old friend, we lost touch, then we find each other again. This is actually a perfect time to resurface: summer vacation has begun in full force, and I'll soon be returning to my Alma Mater, Middlebury College, to continue my graduate studies in Italian at la Scuola Italiana. If you choose to believe in beings with wings who perform miracles, and that a virgin can magically become pregnant and give birth to a demigod, then I choose to believe in Athena, goddess of wisdom, and Aphrodite, goddess of beauty.
