Thoughts on my personal experience growing up Hispanic, Flamenco, & Greek-Orthodox, and the innocence lost along the way. My memories and anecdotes of being raised in Miami's Little Havana, and how that experience shaped my decisions and defined my path. My personal insights into culture, linguistics, dialects, and SLA, based on observations made during my travels. My thoughts on just about everything, particularly Flamenco music, song, and dance. Here continues my search for identity.

I resurface...
I've been asleep for some time now, having stayed away from blogging. Life gets in the way, and as with an old friend, we lost touch, then we find each other again. This is actually a perfect time to resurface: summer vacation has begun in full force, and I'll soon be returning to my Alma Mater, Middlebury College, to continue my graduate studies in Italian at la Scuola Italiana.
Surely, there will be many anecdotes and opinions --for better, or for worse-- to blog about. As to the immediate future, plans are a bit banal: 3 days to unplug at Orlando's Universal Studios. I can't wait to visit Hogwarts.
Ciao a tutti!
